We are seeking a nursery chef to provide delicious, nutritious meals for up to 80 children per session. 


A commitment to maintaining our 5 stars food hygiene and our gold healthy early years qualifications are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for the kitchen garden, ordering and stock, menus and meeting the dietary requirements of individual children. The successful candidate will work together with staff and children on their understanding of produce and maintaining a healthy nutritious, balanced diet.

From £15,600 to £17,056 per annum, Nursery practitioner from 40 hours per week (inclusive of breaks) Monday to Friday, shifts between 6.45am and 7pm


We are seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team.


Applicants must have experience of working with children aged 3 months to 5 years; a minimum Level 3 qualification in early years and childcare; excellent organisational skills, excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); good ICT (Information and Communications Technology) skills; excellent communication skills; the ability to work as part of a team; the ability to communicate and share information with colleagues, parents and outside agencies. An understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach is desired but not essential as training will be given. Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training is also desired but not essential.


The role will be to provide high quality care and learning to our children. Duties include being responsible for a group of key children - writing observations, planning next steps and writing termly reports; providing a variety of indoor and outdoor activities; liaising with parents, colleagues and other staff members; using an online system called ‘Interactive Learning Diary’ to document children’s individual progress & to plan appropriate next steps; supporting staff/colleagues with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework implementation; ensuring policies and procedures are followed and modelling practice.


We provide training and opportunities for career progression; run regular team meetings which all staff must attend; offer 4 weeks holiday per year plus bank holidays; provide a pension scheme; flexible working shift patterns which are organised by a weekly rota.

As the unit supervisor you will be required to manage and run the Baby Unit on a daily basis, providing high quality care and learning for the children. Duties include being responsible for a group of key children - writing observations, planning next steps and writing termly reports; providing a variety of indoor and outdoor activities; liaising with parents, colleagues and other staff members; using an online system ‘Interactive Learning Diary’ to document children’s individual progress & to plan appropriate next steps; supporting staff/colleagues with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework implementation; ensuring policies and procedures are followed and modelling practice. You may also be required to do some non-contact in the office in the absence of the management.
